How does it clear the door?

Unless ordered from factory, a sliding door extender will be required which enables the door to clear the flare.

Are the flares colour coded?

We can colour code if the flares are being supplied and fitted. If supply only, the flares come in Mercedes white or candy white .

How much height does a STORM PopTop add to my vehicle?

Installing a STORM PopTop to your vehicle adds only 55mm to its height.

What are STORM Pop-Tops canvases made from?

Odyssey is a 100% Polyester Coated Fabric that has a clear coating on the inside and is non reversible. It has good strength, dimensional stability, and resistance to abrasion, water, UV and mildew.

Can you supply just the roof so I can fit myself?

Unfortunately not; we only offer supply only to our approved trade fitters. You can enquire about our trade services using the form in the main menu.

How much weight will the roof bed take?

Both the single- and bi-fold beds will take two fully grown adults (250kg max).

Whats the difference between the single- and bi-fold beds?

The difference between the two beds are that the bi-fold bed gives you extra head room at the rear of the van.

My van is already converted; can I still have a pop top fitted?

Yes we can; however, we will need to either see the van in person or see photos of the conversion so that we can see what additional work is involved.

What is included in the price of a pop top?

The STORM roof starts at £2795 inc. VAT for a SWB roof. This includes the roof shell, standard canvas in a choice of 18 colours and fitting to your van complete with installation framework. All extras such as scenic canvas, roof beds, mattress, LED lights, carpeting are extras and prices can be found on our price list.

How far from Bristol centre are you?

We are approximately 10 miles from the centre of Bristol and 8 miles from the city of Bath. We recommend downloading the Uber app if you would like to explore either of these cities whilst you are here.

Can you recommend a local hotel?

Yes, we have a Premier Inn (Emersons Green) and Travelodge (Emersons Green) just a few miles away and we are happy to drop you off if needed.

How is the pop top fixed down?

The STORM Roof is fixed down with two cambuckle straps. This system is tried and tested and has been used for over 20 years, giving you complete piece of mind.

How long will you need my van?

This depends on what work you are having done. If you are just having a pop top fitted you can usually collect the following lunchtime. If you are having any electrical or carpeting work done it can be longer. When we book you in we will confirm the collection date.

What time do I need to arrive?

We ask for you to have your van here between 7:30 and 8:00am on the day booked. If this isn’t convenient and you need to drop off at a different time or day, please arrange this at the time of booking as we have limited parking available on site and it’s not always possible.

What is the lead time?

Lead times vary throughout the season so please contact us to find out our current lead time.

What does SWB & LWB mean?

SWB stands for short wheel base and LWB stands for long wheel base. This refers to the length of your van.

My van is my pride and joy will you look after it?

Yes of course, all of our staff are passionate about cars and campers so your vehicle will be treated like it’s our own. Each and every van gets covered with our purpose made cover and seats and steps are also covered. No grinders producing sparks are used to fit our roofs.

Our crafter and sprinter pods have been designed and moulded to fit the exact contours of both the Mercedes Sprinter and VW Crafter LWB & XLWB 2006 onwards, including all new models. They are the perfect option for your van if you need more height, making bedroom or storage areas much more comfortable and spacious.
The roof pod measures 2,600mm x 1,220mm, giving you an extra height of around 220mm.
